NAAC team visits college to decide on accreditation

Saradha Gangadharan College, Puducherry, has submitted a Self Study Report to NAAC, Bengaluru, which is an autonomous body of UGC/MHRD, New Delhi, to assess and accredit the colleges in India.

A peer team consisting of the following members from NAAC, Bengaluru, is visiting the college for assessment: chairman Om Vikas, former director, ABV-IIITM, former professor, computer science, IIT Kanpur; member coordinator Bibhuti Bhushan Lal Das, professor and Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Bihar; and member Dilip Dhondge, Principal, KTHM College, K.R.T Arts, B.H. Commerce & A. M. Science College, Nashik. The members will verify the infrastructure, academic, extra and co-curricular activities and achievements of the college to offer grading in 10 grade scale of NAAC.

The accreditation helps students and public to know the academic excellence and relative position of the college among various arts and science colleges .
