Ramachandran (30) of Manjakuppam was run over by the Villupuram— Mayiladuthurai Passenger while he was crossing the railway track at Kanisapakkam near Panruti on Sunday.

On information, the railway police reached the spot and arranged for taking the mutilated body to hospital for post-mortem. The railway police have booked a case.
