The government has declared seven more wards of Oulgaret Municipality as open defecation free. Minister for Public Works A. Namassivayam informed the House that Kamaraj Nagar, Thilaspet, Thattanchavady, Indira Nagar, Meenachipet, Ellaipillaichavady, and Jawahar Nagar were open defecation free. Seven wards were declared as open defecation-free a few months ago.
