Controversial preacher Zakir Naik has found a third venue for a media conference on Friday, after repeatedly being shunted out of other places in the city. This time, it is a banquet hall in Mazgaon and Mr. Naik will address presspersons via Skype.

On Wednesday, Dr. Naik was asked to move out yet again, from a small banquet hall in Agripada. According to Dr. Naik’s spokesperson, the management of Mehfil Hall in Agripada told his team the venue cannot hold a press conference and at around 11 p.m., they were asked to pack up. Dr. Naik’s associates from Islamic Research Foundation claim this is the fifth venue they have been asked to move out of. “One of the hotels we approached cancelled our booking 24 hours prior to the conference, citing power breakdown as reason. Our recent venue asked us to move out saying they had booked another event on the same day,” Arif Malik of IRF told The Hindu . Will Dr. Naik be lucky this time?
