Kejriwal to reach out through Talk to AK

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold an interactive session on July 17 titled Talk to AK , where people from across the country can ask him questions via phone, text message and social media.

“Our leader (Kejriwal) can be approached via Twitter, Facebook, phone calls and text messages. Talk to AK starts at 11 a.m. on July 17,” Ashutosh Sengar, AAP’s joint in-charge for Maharashtra, said on Friday. The programme may last three to four hours depending on the number of people and questions, he said.

The Delhi government has launched a dedicated website named www.talktoak.com on which people can put questions directly to Mr. Kejriwal, he said. Clarifying that the programme is not similar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show

Mann Ki Baat , Mr. Sengar said

Talk to AK will be a conversation and not a monologue.

Mr. Sengar said the show will not focus on “micro” issues like Mumbai’s potholes, as Mr. Kejriwal wants to address “big problems” like corruption and inflation.

He added that the AAP’s decision to contest the civic body elections in Mumbai early next year will be after through assessment followed by an in-depth review. —PTI
