The Mira Road police on Friday night arrested and later released model Poonam Pandey for allegedly behaving indecently in public.
According to the police on late Friday night, they received a call from a local complaining that two people were behaving indecently in public. When the police reached the spot, they found the actress with a male friend. The two were then taken to the local police station.
Ms. Pandey was booked under sections 110 (behaving indecently in public) and 117 of Maharashtra Police Act and was left after a warning, the police said.

Defending herself on social media, Ms. Pandey claims she was listening to music. “Listening to songs in the car is not an 'indecent behaviour' pls stop spreading such kinda news about me,” she posted on her twitter account.
