Art: Symposium by Ajit Deswandikar

The works of artist Ajit Deswandikar that chronicle postmodern urban lifestyle will be showcased. Most of the artist’s creations are rendered in acrylic or oil paints. Some of the common motifs are vegetable carts, farmers, train compartments and industrial work spaces. With a degree in fine arts from the JJ School of Art, Mumbai, Deswandikar has traveled to Singapore and London. His last show was held in New York City in 2015.
