This film is a biopic about Kadambari Devi, who married Rabindranath Tagore’s elder brother Jyotirindranath. When Kadambari came to the Tagore household, Robi (Rabindranath Tagore) was seven-years-old and Kadambari was nine. Their relationship soon becomes wrought with complexities. This tale draws from the influence Kadambari had on Tagore’s works, and the distress he underwent when she committed suicide.
Kadambari features Konkona Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Koushik Sen and Titas Bhowmik.
