During the hearing of a bunch of petitions and applications in the Adarsh co-operative housing society scam, the Bombay High Court on Friday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation and the petitioners to club similar pleas, and prepare a chart from it.
To expeditiously look into the prayers put forth in all the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petitions and applications, the court has directed the agency to group the demands. There are more than four PILs and various applications seeking different reliefs from the court.
Some of the pleas have already been granted by the court. Some petitioners have not been attending court for some time.

The court has given the central agency and the petitioners time till September 3 to submit a chart. The matter will be heard again on September 3.
The Adarsh scam had cost the then Chief Minister Ashok Chavan his chair. Several top bureaucrats, politicians and army brass were arrested and charge sheeted in the matter. The Ministry of Defence has claimed that the agency wrongfully utilised the plot owned by it, to build an illegal housing society.
