One more arrested in Burdwan blast case

Abdul Hakim, another accused in the Burdwan blast, was arrested on Tuesday, taking the number of arrests to four.

Hakim was present in the room where the explosion occurred on October 2 and was admitted to a hospital.

Earlier, two women and Hashem Molla, a resident of Purbasthali town, were arrested in connection with the blast.

The West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department brought Molla to its headquarters here for interrogation. Refuting the allegation of his involvement in the blast, he told media persons that he did not know any of those involved in the blast.

Meanwhile, a team of Intelligence Bureau along with State's CID officials searched the house at Khagragarh where the explosion occurred. Two persons had died in the explosion.
