Follow water management, poultry farmers told

The rise in temperature will affect the poultry, as the birds may not consume feed increasing the body temperature further. Hence, farmers should follow water management carefully, said a press release from Agromet Field Unit of Veterinary College and Research Institute here and Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai.

The sky will remain clear and dry in the next two days. Maximum and minimum temperature will respectively be around 40 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius. Wind speed will be around 4 km an hour, mostly from South East direction. Clouds were likely to be formed, and duration of high temperature may be come down.

Wind speed too will be lower during day time, the release added.
