Woman succumbs to swine flu

A 35-year-old woman, who was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital on Monday, succumbed to A(H1N1) influenza in the hospital around evening.

According to Director of Public Health, Manjula, a resident of Tiruporur in Kancheepuram district, was admitted to Chettinad Hospital on Friday.

She was diagnosed as positive for the flu on Sunday, and on Monday she was shifted by the hospital to the RGGGH.
