A 32-year-old woman was found dead at her apartment in Rajakilpakkam near Tambaram on Saturday morning.
Pooja was living with her daughter Nishka, a class I student. On Saturday morning, Nishka informed their neighbours that her mother was lying on the bed with her stomach bleeding. The victim's husband Rohan Shankar is an engineer working in the Gulf.
Selaiyur police are investigating.
