A 31-year-old animal lover in Choolaimedu has filed a complaint against a couple following a quarrel that arose over feeding community dogs on the street.
Savithra Manoharan of Choolaimedu said the couple attacked her on Basha Street on Wednesday night when she was feeding a few dogs and their pups. She said that when she went to feed biscuits to the dogs, the couple objected, claiming that they were creating a nuisance. An argument ended in Savithra being pushed down. The police said the complaint is being inquired into.
