Veerapandi Arumugam gets bail

The Madras High Court on Tuesday granted bail to former DMK Minister Veerapandi Arumugam in a case relating to alleged land grabbing registered by the Salem City Central Crime Branch. The case was registered based on a complaint by Balamohanraj.

Justice T. Sudanthiram said that Mr.Arumugam should be released on bail on his furnishing a bond for Rs.25,000 and executing two sureties.

Justice T. Mathivanan granted bail to another former Minister, Pongalur N. Palanisamy, in a case relating to alleged land grabbing.
