Two youngsters, Sasikumar (19) and a minor, were arrested for snatching a six-sovereign gold chain.
Rajeshwari (74) on Tuesday, was walking towards a temple on Sambasivan Theruvu in T. Nagar on Tuesday morning, when the incident occurred.
Rajeshwari immediately filed a complaint with the R4 Pondy Bazaar police.

Police personnel recovered a CCTV footage in the area and noted the motorcycle number on which the criminals had sped away.
After conducting a vehicle check in T. Nagar, the duo were caught and the jewellery was also recovered from them on the same day.
