S. Sudha, a 27-year-old television artiste, died on Friday evening, 10 days after she was critically injured in a road accident in Kottivakkam on ECR.
The traffic police said she was riding pillion on a motorcycle that was driven by Tiruvengadam, a friend. Near the Kottivakkam traffic signal, Tiruvengadam swerved the vehicle to the left to avoid hitting a pedestrian. In the impact, Sudha was thrown off the motorcycle. She sustained grave head injuries. She was admitted to a private hospital, where she succumbed to injuries.
