Trains diverted due to cyclone

Due to cyclonic condition in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, the following trains have been diverted through Balharsha, Gondia, Raipur, Bilaspur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur:

Train no. 12840 Chennai Central–Howrah Mail leaving Central at 11.40 p.m. on Saturday; train no. 12253 Yesvantpur–Bhagalpur Anga weekly express leaving Katpadi at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday; train no. 12864 Yesvantpur–Howrah Express leaving Katpadi at 12.30 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 15905 Kanniyakumari–Dibrugarh weekly express leaving Katpadi at 7.25 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 16323 Thiruvananthapuram–Shalimar bi-weekly express leaving Central at 10 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 22852 Mangalore Central–Santragachi weekly express leaving Katpadi at 12.40 p.m. on Sunday; train no. 06007 Chennai Central–Satragachi weekly special leaving Central at 7.50 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 12842 Chennai Central–Howrah Coromondal Express leaving Central at 8.45 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 13352 Alleppey–Dhanbad Express leaving Central at 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Train rescheduled

Train no. 12697 Chennai Central–Thiruvananthapuram weekly superfast express scheduled to leave Central at 3.15 p.m. on Sunday is rescheduled for 1.30 a.m. on Monday due to late running of pairing train.

Halt at Mahe

In connection with St. Theresa’s festival in Mahe, the following trains will halt for a minute at Mahe railway station:

Train no. 16627 Chennai Central–Mangalore Central West Coast Express leaving Central on Sunday (October 13) and Monday (October 14) — arrival/departure at Mahe: 12.40 a.m./12.41 a.m. on Sunday; train no. 16628 Mangalore Central–Chennai Central West Coast Express leaving Mangalore Central on Sunday (October 13) and Monday (October 14) — arrival/departure at Mahe: 1.01 a.m./ 1.02 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.
