Traffic changes on EVR Salai

Traffic police have made some changes in the flow of vehicles in front of Pachaiyappa's College from Tuesday in order to facilitate construction work of the underground railway station of the Chennai Metro Rail.

According to a press release, the construction work in front of Pachaiyappa's College will occupy fifty per cent of the carriageway on EVR Salai.

To ease the flow of traffic, a separate two lane carriage way has been created on the road on St. George School side.

Traffic from Ega towards Anna Nagar will be allowed on the existing carriageway on two lanes while traffic from Anna Nagar towards Ega will be allowed on the newly created carriage way, the release said.
