Fans abroad can see 'Thoongavanam' online, legally

The movie will be available on herotalkies.com on December 4.

Actor Kamal Haasan’s Deepavali release, Thoongavanam , will be made available for fans living outside India through the movie streaming websiteherotalkies.comon December 4.

Despite getting good reviews, the film’s box office performance was partially affected by the unprecedented rains that lashed Tamil Nadu in the second week of November.

Meanwhile, a 60-second audio clip of a song from Actor Rajinikanth’s

Kabali , believed to the title song, also made it way to the internet, albeit illegally.

The clip, which is believed to have been recorded by someone present in the set, was being widely circulated on the social media.

Some years ago, a song from his earlier film,

Enthiran , also got leaked online before its official release.

Kabali directed by Pa. Ranjith, which has Rajinikanth playing the titular role, stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan and ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh.

While shooting for the film began in Chennai in August earlier this year, the shooting schedule in Malaysia garnered a lot of attention with fans flocking to catch a glimpse of the shooting there.
