On Sunday, his wife Mangaiyarkarasi and daughter Gnanaratham left for Ulundurpet to visit a temple. On their return on Monday morning, they found the main door broken open and Natarajan dead.

“My father always used to latch the main door even if we were inside the house. He was so careful. Now the latch of the main door has been broken. We suspect that unknown persons entered the house,” Gnanaratham said.

The family has had a dispute with a few people in Bengaluru.
