Lingaa . Many even refused to believe it, saying he was too big and it was too late in his career to bet on a young filmmaker. It has now been confirmed that the superstar will begin shooting for his yet-to-be named film, directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, in August in Malaysia and is likely to release early next year.

Attakathi and recently
Madras , a film about politics in North Madras, is expected to finish shooting of the film in 120 days at locations in Malaysia, Thailand, and Chennai.
Sources say a part of the story, like both his previous films, will be set in Chennai. While the cast of the film is yet to be finalised, many of those who worked in Pa. Ranjtih’s
Madras , including music composer Santhosh Narayanan, editor Praveen K.L. and cinematographer Murali G. are expected to work in this film as well.
