The award ceremony of ‘Super Brain Challenge 2015’ was held on Sunday.
The contest was conducted by The Hindu In School in association with EdSix Brain Lab’s Skill Angels.
Chief guest Mylswamy Annadurai, Director, ISRO Satellite Centre, gave away the prizes. Students from over 2,000 schools from all over India took part. The contest, which was in the form of online games, tested students on memory, visual processing, focus and attention, problem solving and language skills. The event was held at Anna Centenary Library auditorium.

The online contest consisted of two rounds. The first round was held in November. The finals were held on February 7. The overall winner of the event, Jaya Harihara Pranav, a class XI student of Bannari Amman Vidhya Niketan, Sathyamangalam, gets to go on a trip to NASA while runner-up Siddarth Venkatasubramanian, a class VI student of Sri Kumaran Children’s Home (CBSE) Mallasandra Campus, Bengaluru, will visit Universal Studios in Singapore. Saravanan Sundaramoorthy, founder and managing director, Edsix Brain Lab; K.R. Maalathi, founder and CEO, Auuro Educational Services; Abhaya Kumar, executive director, Strides Shasun and K.K. Anand, founder, Science and Maths Academy for Real Talents, also spoke.
