The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah over the historic victory their party secured to form a government at the Centre again.
“It was the will of the Almighty Allah (God) that the NDA government for the second term should lead the destiny of the nation, once again,” he said in a statement and expressed the hope that the government would preserve and uphold secularism and democracy, as enshrined in the Constitution.
“The people of our great secular country, India, look at you and your government for good governance and equal rights to all in a peaceful atmosphere of co-existence of fellow citizens, irrespective of caste, creed or religion,” the Prince of Arcot said.
