A four-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire in suburban Ottiyambakkam on Friday night. He reportedly touched a snapped power supply cable.
Sathish was living in the staff quarters of a rice mill in Arasan Kazhuni village, where his parents Viji and Muthamma are employed.
The young boy stepped out after the rains stopped and touched a snapped live wire.

He was rushed to a private hospital, where he was pronounced brought dead. Pallikaranai police are investigating.
