DMDK cadre burn Tamil magazine copies

Cadres of the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) burnt copies of Kumudham Reporter , on Wednesday, condemning an article published in the magazine.

A group of partymen gathered in front of the offices of Kumudham on Purasawalkam High Road and raised slogans against the management.

They said the magazine had published a report that claimed the DMDK was in bad shape and its future was bleak.

When security personnel prevented the protesters from entering the office, they burnt some copies of the magazine and tore posters pasted on the gate.

Traffic on the stretch was disrupted briefly, forcing the police to remove the agitators from the scene.
