A whole new look at garbage is what non-governmental organisations Reclaim Our Beaches (ROB) and Concern Awareness and Responsibility for the Environment (CARE) want.
Volunteers set up an art installation called the bottomless pit using garbage collected from the Elliot’s Beach on Saturday. Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Avadi too lent a hand.
Siddharth Hande of ROB said, “We need to question the material used for packaging, the consumption and its disposal,” he said.
