CM inaugurates four Amma canteens

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated four more Amma canteens in Chennai on Monday.

With this, the number of such canteens in the city goes up to 207.Ms. Jayalalithaa visited Government Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Triplicane, to inaugurate a canteen there.

She also tested the quality of food and advised members of the self-help group entrusted with the task of running the canteen to ensure the food was prepared in a hygienic manner.

Canteens were also inaugurated at the government hospitals in Royapettah and Kilpauk, besides Government R.S.R.M. Hospital in Royapuram.
