Chennai zone students comes second in IIT-JEE

Nearly 1.19 lakh candidates took the joint entrance exams conducted on May 25. Successful candidates can apply online for the various courses offered at the undergraduate-levels in the 16 IITs across the nation and the ISM in Dhanbad.

A total of 27,151 candidates out of 1,19,581 who appeared for the JEE have cleared the exams.

While a student from Rajasthan, belonging to the IIT Delhi zone topped the list, the second rank went to a student from the Chennai zone.
