No further sighting of leopard

On Monday morning, wildlife officials shifted the camera and traps set up in the Vandalur Reserved Forests to monitor the movement of a leopard that was sighted there last week.

According to Forest department sources, till Monday morning, the camera did not record any movement of the big cat. Secondly, no pug marks were found near the waterhole, where two trap cages were set up on Saturday evening.

They said though two cages were set up near a waterhole in the Vandalur Reserved Forests in Sadhanandhapuram area, till Monday evening, no animal had been trapped.
