How to access your results today

Apart from websites, students can also depend on SMS facility

The close to eight lakh class XII State board students who are expecting their results on Friday can get them through designated websites, SMS and their schools.

According to a press release from the directorate of government examinations, results can be accessed at >www.tnresults.nic.in , >www.dge1.tn.nic.in , >www.dge2.tn.nic.in and www.dge3.tn.nic.in. Those using smartphones can access their results at www.dge1.tn.nic.in.

Students can also get the results through SMS. They will have to type TNBOARD <space> <registration no>, <DOB in DD/MM/YYYY> to 092822 32585. The SMS facility will be available only after 10 a.m. on Friday. The release said that students can also get their results for free at their respective schools, the national informatics centres at the collectorates in all districts, and at all central and branch libraries.

According to a press release, private candidates’ marksheets will be available at their respective exam centres on Friday, and hence will not be made available online.

BSNL subscribers can get the results through SMS after registering their register numbers. According to a press release, class XII students can register by sending ‘HSC<space> “Registration number” to 53576. The release said that an acknowledgement message would be sent when the student is registered. While registration will be free, Rs. 3 will be charged for receiving the result, the release added.
