Actress Sukanya’s CDs released

CDs by actress Sukanya being launched at the Music Academy

At a function that was attended by personalities from the film, music and other fields, the CDs by actress Sukanya titled “ Thirupathi Thirukkudai Thiruvizhaa” (Tamil) & “ Thirupathi Mahotsavam ” (Telugu) were launched at the Music Academy Mini Hall on November 25.

Sukanya's innate ability to pen lyrics and compose music manifested in her maiden production ‘Azhagu,’ which was a great success. Taking the inspiration from her father Ramesh, a litterateur, Sukanya executed her thoughts by coming out with musical projects as these.

Natraj, Chairman, TNPSC, released the Tamil CD and the first copy was received by Gopal, Associate Editor, Dinamalar.

Padmashri Sudha Ragunathan released the Telugu CD and the first copy was received by actor Shrikanth.

Violinist Lalgudi G J R Krishnan gave the welcome address. In her vote of thanks, Sukanya summarised her musical journey.
