A book fair, organised by Theosophical Publishing House of The Theosophical Society, is on at two venues: Adyar Bookshop (Opposite to Malar Hospitals. Ph: 24463442) and on the premises of the society at Besant Gardens, Besant Avenue, Adyar (Ph: 24911338, 24466613).
Books of Theosophical Publishing House and Adyar Library and Research Centre will be sold at 33 per cent discount and publications of Quest Books, USA, at 20 per cent discount.
Works of Annie Besant, H.P. Blavatsky, H.S. Olcott, Bhagavan Das, George Arundale, I.K. Taimni, J. Krishnamurti, Radha Burnier, N. Sri Ram, C.W. Leadbeater, Dalai Lama, Ravi Ravindra, and S. Rinpoche on various subjects such as religion, philosophy, spirituality, music, occultism and others are available. Audio and video cassettes, CDs, incense sticks and greeting cards are also available for purchase. Subscriptions for journals such as The Theosophist, Wake Up India and Theosophical Digest can be made during the exhibition. The fair ends on January 1.
