Business school on the anvil

The Rajalakshmi Group of Educational Institutions will start a business school in Chennai by the name of ‘Rajalakshmi School of Business’. The school will offer a post-graduate diploma programme in management (PGDM). The aim will be to produce graduates who are experts in management and allied fields.

Thangam Meganathan, chairperson of the group, said the work on starting such a school had started in 2010. She noted there was a great demand for management graduates.

Subhendu Dey, director of the B-School, said marketing professionals are able to grow fast in their careers.
