Chennai institution enters Guinness World Records

They broke the previous record set by China

Anand Subramaniam, managing director, Brainobrain Kids Academy receives the certificate from Guinness World Records.

Brainobrain Kids Academy, based in Nandanam, has entered the Guinness World Records for organising a mental arithmetic session with the largest number of participants.

The event which was held recently saw the participation of as many as 3,189 children from the academy’s centres across the country.

With this achievement, the academy has broken the previous record of 1,073 participants set by China.

The 40-minute session exposed children aged between 4 and 14 years to swift computing abilities.

Starting from single digits to triple digit numbers ranging from 5 rows to 20 rows of addition and subtraction along with multiplication were performed by children with great speed and accuracy.

The 5-minute test at the end of the session proved the students super-fast learning and computing abilities outdoing the calculators.

“Our academy, staff and children are excited over this accomplishment. Our chilren are experts in cognitive skills and mental aptitude. They have proved it again and did our academy proud,” said Anand Subramaniam, managing director, Brainobrain Kids Academy.
