Music fest from Saturday

Bhakti Sangeet Utsav, a four-day annual devotional music festival, will be inaugurated on Saturday at Mylapore Fine Arts Club.

Organised by music portal Carnatica, the festival will revolve thematically around Krishna and is dedicated to the victims of the MH17 flight accident, Israel-Palestine conflict and Moulivakkam building collapse.

The performers include O.S. Arun, Priya sisters, Ganapathy Tukaram Maharaj, Trichur brothers, Subhasree Thanikachalam and B. Suchitra.

Cleveland V. V. Sundaram, Mohan Parasaran and Mallika Ravi of Lancor Holdings will participate. Entry is free.
