Actor Vishal offers to pay farmer’s debt

Actor Vishal on Friday offered to pay the debt of the farmer, whose manhandling by police went viral on the social media.

The actor tweeted that he was willing to repay the loan if the distressed farmer did not have any objection.

He wrote: “Balan, I don't know you, but I pledge my support to you. I don’t know about your loan but please accept my support.”

The actor reportedly has told his office to give him Rs. 1,47,000 towards his loan. The actor’s representative said that Vishal was distressed when he came to know that the farmer was beaten up.

“When big businessmen are being let off, he felt that it is not acceptable for police to manhandle farmers.”
