Slew of events mark Women’s Day in city

It was all about proactive measures and recognition at various organisations in the city on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Friday.

Women lawyers inaugurated a toll-free helpline. The number, 1800-102-7068, is an effort to reach out to women lawyers facing personal, legal and social problems.

According to advocate L. Margaret, the effort would also help to implement 33 per cent reservation for women in the legal profession in the State.
