Trees to be transplanted along 471 bus routes

The Greater Chennai Corporation has planned to transplant trees in vacant spaces along 471 bus routes in the city. Following the successful transplantation of 215 trees along the Marina beach by the Manithaneyam Charitable Trust, the civic body has started identifying roads that require tree cover.
