TMC plea to government

The Tamil Maanila Congress on Tuesday urged the government fulfil the demands of the 2.5 lakh employees of the mid-day meal scheme and anganwadis.

Workers have been agitating for the filling up of over a lakh vacancies, more pay and benefits. The TMC, in a statement signed by president G.K. Vasan, demanded that the government accept their demands while the Assembly session is on.
