Speech competition

The Academy for Communication and Learning will conduct a speech competition on October 21 for children. Registration is open from October 14 (today). Registration fee is Rs.100.

The contest will be held in two levels (first level: from six to 12 years of age and second level: from 13 to 18 years of age).

For the first level, the topics are ‘protection of our forests and wildlife,’ ‘what are the three things that you want to change in your school,’ ‘what are the three important goals which you have set for the next two years and what steps you will take to achieve them,’ and ‘what are the three great things you like most about India.’

The given duration is four to six minutes.

For the second level, the topics are ‘time management,’ ‘libraries will become history in another 10 years,’ ‘role of students in abolishment of corruption in the country,’ ‘what are the three magical things that you will do if you become the head of your school,’ ‘what are the three important goals that you have set for yourself for the next two years and what steps you will take to achieve them.’ The given duration is five to seven minutes. The contest will be conducted at 10.30 a.m. Last date for registration is on or before October 21.
