*His number 'Vishwanathan Velai Vendum' in Kathalikka Neramillia, had an interesting incident behind it. M.S.Vishwanathan and his wife had been holidaying in Yercaud for a week, when Kannadaasan, Chithralaya Gopu and Director C.V.Sridhar were waiting for him to begin composing the songs for the movie. The day, he returned from Yercaud and arrived at Chithralaya office, Kannadasan, called out his name and said..''Ennappa..Viswanathaa...Velai kodu..Velai kodukkaama oorukku Poitiye (Viswanathan give me some work).''
Director Sridhar had a spark immediately, and said that should be the beginning of the song and decided to rename Balaiah's character as 'Vishwanathan.' Needless to say, the song was a superhit number.
