The Madras Club swimming team, comprising members of all age groups and professions, won many medals at the recently concluded State Masters Swimming Championships held at the Aquatic Complex.
The team is next aiming at the National Masters Swimming Championships to be held in October in Bhopal.
The final medal tally: Gayathre Rajam (captain) won two gold and two silver; Vidhya Singh two gold; Gayathri Sriram two gold; Vineeta Hoon two gold and two silver; Kadambari one gold; Julie three gold and one silver; Stina Vasu one gold; Arun Krishnan one gold and three silver; Kaushik three bronze; Ishwar one silver; Vikram Hosangady one silver; Michael two silver one bronze; Roop Kumar two silver and two bronze.
