Firm adopts three flood-affected villages

Three flood-affected villages in Kancheepuram district were adopted for rehabilitation by a firm as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity.

Facilitated by the National Agro Foundation, a voluntary organisation, Chennai-based iNautix Technologies India has embarked on a project to help out these villages.

The villages have been adopted for comprehensive rural development initiatives to facilitate agricultural development, women’s empowerment and improvement of hygiene and sanitation.

The project was inaugurated at Vilambattu village, Kancheepuram district, by Vidya Durai, Director (Community Partnership), iNautix Technologies India, in the presence of Kalpana Rajesh, additional director of National Agro Foundation, villagers and volunteers.

Many initiatives

The project aims at implementing several initiatives such as creating infrastructure for rainwater harvesting, rejuvenating waterbodies and enhancing agricultural and dairy farming at Vilambattu, Pudupettai and VK Agaram in Kancheepuram district.
