Anantharamaseshan passes away

T.V. Anantharamaseshan, former Assistant Editor of The Hindu , Chennai, died here on Monday after a brief illness.

He was 87 and is survived by four daughters and a son.

Mr. Anantharamaseshan joined

The Hindu as a sub-editor in 1963 and in May 1968, he was elevated to the rank of Assistant Editor. After attaining superannuation in 1981, he worked for the paper for another four years.
