Southern Railway will run additional special trains to meet the demands of passengers during the ensuing summer season.
Chennai Central – Dadar (Weekly) Superfast Garib Rath specials: Train no 0655 will leave Chennai Central at 3 p.m. on all Wednesdays from April 7 to June 16 and reach Dadar at 11.15 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train no 0656 will leave Dadar at 1 p.m. on all Thursdays from April 8 to June 17 and arrive at Central at 9.15 a.m. the next day.
Chennai Egmore – Sengottai (Weekly) specials: Train 0611 will leave Egmore at 8.20 p.m. on all Saturdays from April 3 to June 26 and reach Sengottai at 10.25 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, train no 0612 will leave Sengottai at 2.25 p.m. on all Sundays from April 4 to June 27 and arrive Egmore at 4.15 a.m. the next day. Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin (Weekly) specials: Train no 0613 will leave Egmore at 8.20 p.m. on all Sundays from April 4 to June 27 and reach Tuticorin at 9.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train no 0614 will leave Tuticorin at 2.50 p.m. on all Mondays from April 5 to June 28 and arrive at Egmore at 4.15 a.m. the next day.

Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil (Bi-Weekly) specials: Train no 0617 will leave at 6.50 p.m. on all Mondays and Tuesdays from April 5 to June 29 and reach Nagercoil at 8.05 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train no 0618 will leave Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m. on all Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April 6 to June 30 and reach Egmore at 4.15 a.m. the next day.
Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli (Weekly) specials: Train 0615 will leave Egmore at 8.20 p.m. on all Wednesdays from April 7 to June 23 and reach Tirunelveli at 9.30 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train no 0616 will leave Tirunelveli at 2.50 p.m. on all Thursdays from April 8 to June 24 and arrive at Egmore at 4.15 a.m. the next day.
Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil (Weekly) specials via Erode and Tiruchi: Train no 0607 will leave Egmore at 8.10 p.m. on all Fridays from April 2 to June 25 and reach Nagercoil at 1 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train no 0608 will leave Nagercoil at 4.35 p.m. on all Saturdays from April 3 to June 26 and arrive at Egmore at 9.30 a.m. the next day.
