95 unauthorised hoardings removed

A committee has identified 108 unauthorised hoardings and 95 of them have been removed, following a Madras High Court order, according to an official statement.

The Madras High Court had ordered that all the unauthorised hoardings in Chennai district should be removed and a compliance report should be submitted before August 29.

The committee of the Tahsildars/Deputy Tahsildars and the Revenue Inspectors of Chennai District identified the 108 hoardings in their respective jurisdictions, said the statement. — Staff Reporter
