Over 13.96 lakh voters have been included in the electoral roll after the special summary revision, 2019.

According to a release, during the special summary revision, 14,30,669 claims were received for inclusion of names in the electoral roll. Out of this, 13,96,274 have been admitted by the EROs. They will be issued EPIC cards. As was done during the summary revision in the last two years, this year’s data had been forwarded to the respective vendors for printing and supply of EPICs to the office of the District Election Officers.

The vendors should print the EPICs within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of data and deliver the cards to the districts to enable them distribute EPICs through the concerned booth-level officers.

The voters can remit the prescribed fees of ₹25/- in the TACTV centres and get their EPICs, the release said.
