A woman and her teenaged son were brutally hacked to death by three armed men in her house in Mangammanapalya on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Asmath Taj (46) and Rumanulla (16). The assailants ransacked the house, indicating that they were looking for something. The police suspect that a property dispute could be the reason behind the murders. The Madiwala police have taken up a case.
