A 24-year-old woman was robbed of her gold chain by two bike-borne men in the busy Nettakallappa Circle in Basavanagudi on Saturday.
The victim, Kavitha, a private firm employee was returning home. The muggers approached her on Yamaha motorcycle and sped away after snatching her gold chain.
Even though Ms. Kavitha raised an alarm, the duo managed to escape. The Basavanagudi police rushed to the spot and managed to retrieve the registration number of the motorcycle, which was traced to Kodigehalli in Bengaluru North Division.

The police are on the manhunt for the muggers who will be arrested soon, a senior police officer said.
